if you sprinkle when you tinkle

why can't people be more considerate?! ok, if not, then why can't people be more modest?!! I for one would be ashamed if someone were to see me leaving the bathroom stall all messy and yucky. I have to say of all the workplace bathrooms I've been too, this is by far the worst. the thing is I don't even understand why? I'm inclined to think that it is a case of a few rotten apples. I mean the bathrooms are pretty gross. there is the invariable sprinkle on the seat. so so gross. and since I'm talking about the women's bathroom here, these characteristic spatter patterns can only happen if they were using the 'hover' method. i.e. you hover over the seat. I have nothing against hoverers, I sometimes use that as a form of exercise myself! heh! but for goodness sake, what poor technique. even so, people should really remember that stupid phrase -

'if you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat!'

isn't that just the decent thing to do? we're not just animals here. well, most of us aren't. that makes the rest of us do so much work just before we can take a pee. we have to first wipe the freaking seat dry, layer on the seat protector before we can plonk our precious tusshies down. so frustrating. every single time.

and that is not all!! there are those that splash water all over the sink, resulting in wet floors. reminds me of malaysian restrooms. then there are those that don't wash their hands. you hear them walking out of the stalls and straight out the door. gross! gross! gross!! and then there are those that 'forget' to flush? omg!! can you actually forget to flush??? isn't flushing like a reflex action? my goodness!! I thought she must have been doing something else in the stall since I didn't hear the flush but urgh! disgusting!! I've been to the other restrooms in this building but the one on this particular floor is truly the worst. I just don't understand why!! it just irks me everytime I have to go for a tinkle. to top it all, I work in a cutting edge research building. this is not some random public restroom. all of us are supposed to be professionals. bleah! I don't think making us do this would change anything.

but nothing can beat that particular restroom in malaysia. I even had to pay to see that barf inducing scene. aaaaaarrghhhhhh!! scarred for life!

I worked at a place several years ago where we moved offices. The new building was great, but suddenly someone keeps peeing on the toilet seats. Gross! What is the problem with this person? Why can't she just lift up the seat? Gross gross gross!

After about a week, I finally realized that it's the toilet flush that is splashing water up onto the seat. Even more gross! Now I have to flush and RUN!

Glad I don't work there anymore.
