green tea frappe

green tea frappucino from good ol starbucks. I'm a starbucks girl. because they are always there at every corner when you want good coffee. before starbucks became a big thing I used to hate them because they were killing off the cozy cafes. but finally caved in because it was so convenient and consistent. no surprises. I just hate bad coffee. feel soooooo jipped when I get bad coffee because it's a waste of my hard-earned cash and it kills my coffee quota. yup, there is a quota!

1st cup - aahhhhhhh
2nd cup - mmmmmm
3rd cup - gahhhhh
no 4th cup because I will be too darn jittery

so it's usually 2 cups max. so I hate bad coffee.

#5 - dunkin - weak but ok taken black
#6 - red barn - sucks but maybe due to incompetent staff

that's just my preference. anyway, back to my fav starbucks. when I went back to asia, I tried the green tea frappe. was sooo goood. was not available here in the US, apparently due to a green tea supply problem. but it is ok. not available - save money. frappucinos cost more than twice the cost of drip. butttt.... they are now available here for a limited time only from july to september. so of course I had to get one. so off I go singing happily. paid $4 for my green tea frappe and it was awful! so sad! but I'm not giving up yet. starbucks is supposed to be consistent! I'll give the baristas half a month to get it straight and I'll try again. what's worse than bad coffee? having to pay $4 for bad frappe.
