good guys die young?

a well liked and highly successful individual. a rare species in this wheelin' and dealin' world of high brow scientific research. fair and generous. well respected. cancer is cruel. but still a rich man's disease. lung cancer always comes with a stigma. you asked for it. that's why one almost has to put a disclaimer - non smoker, to wipe out any prejudice for a lung cancer patient. good guys die young? not true. just seems so.
