it's freezing again today. but tomorrow it will be a warm day in good ol' boston. sidewalks still covered with snow. got my snow boots on. all is good. need some hot cider. got to clean up home today for new year visitor. so much crap to do and I still have to entertain a visitor *yawn*.

been looking for asian clubs. so many asians in boston. where do they go? not talking bout the college kids. since i'm a not so young professional, married and all with the big 30 lurking round the corner. found asiannight411.com but that site kinda sucks. then there is http://clubzen.com but no boston events *yawn*. should probably check out club nicole I guess. or maybe 33.

everyone is still talking about the tsunamis. have to say i've never thought about one hitting malaysia. sounds incredulous. happened didn't it. so close to home. christmas night, I heard earthquake near Aceh. next morning was tsunamis hit malaysia. I thought, must've hit penang. kinda surreal, looking at the limited live videos. 30 feet waves I heard. also heard that most of the victims in penang were local tourists since the hotel beaches where most foreigners were had some kind of warnings *shrug*. rumors.

just read up on krakatoa. 1883. seems it was one heck an eruption. with tsunamis over 130ft. what a shocker. seems the atmospheric shock waves circled the earth 7.5 times before dissipating. now that is scary. especially now with all the highrises.
